You see Bernhard interviewed in her home; working in her darkroom; arranging and photographing still life and nude studies; teaching workshop students; visiting Point Lobos and much more. It is an endearing portrait of this amazing artist and her unique creative process and outlook on life. (Color, 58 minutes).

This set includes an original 8x10" gelatin silver print photograph of one of Bernhard's earliest still life studies, "Easter Fantasy, 1933" (shown below). These prints were produced in 1989 under the direct supervision of the artist in her home darkroom, featured in the film. Each print is signed by the artist and numbered (example shown below). Also included is a Special Memorial Edition DVD of the film, signed and numbered by the film's producer, Robert Burrill. Strictly limited to twenty sets, each presented in a special folder that houses the original print and DVD, as well as a colophon page explaining full details of the edition and the story behind the print in the artist's own words.

Ruth Bernhard talks about "Easter Fantasy": "I made this photograph for Macy's while I was living in New York City in 1933. It was for the employee magazine and I remember building everything you see. I loved making it and playing with the dolls, dressing them, helping them choose their wardrobes. They were obedient and expressed a great deal of wisdom. Each told me how they were to stand and where. This is one of my earliest doll photographs, which is all about caring, especially at Easter." Strictly limited to twenty sets.
